In or Out

Call up Mistress Cleo! Consult your Almanacs! Or, heck, just try and make an educated guess! Last year, we had quite a bit of fun playing the "In or Out" game on CQ, and this year, WoTC has decided to get in on the fun!

Starting July 7th, every day classicquarter.com will be posting an eligible card in our forums with a poll with only two choices - IN or OUT? Your job is to guess whether or not the card in question will appear in Magic Online's next exclusive set, Master's Edition 3.

That's it - the person with the most correct answers (there will be 30 cards in all shown) will win packs of MED 3 upon it's release. How many packs? Well, that's up to you - WoTC is looking for as many responses as possible, so they will actually up the packs for the prize based on how many people participate.

The contest rules are as follows:

  • The CQ.com administrator will decide which cards are involved.
  • Contestants will have 3 days to guess, after which time the poll will be closed for that card. The final 3 cards will be available only until the day after the last card is available for voting, at which time no more votes can be cast
  • WOTC employees, their immediate families and members with access to moderate the forums on CQ.com are ineligible for prizes.
  • You may have as many accounts as you wish actively participating in the IN or OUT contest. Members who lose their accounts and forced to use alternate accounts for violations of the code of conduct of Magic Online or classicquarter.com will not be considered.
  • The tie-breaking procedures will be in this order:
    1. Most number of correct guesses
    2. Most number of consecutive correct guessses
    3. Last incorrect guess (i.e. if Account A guessed the first 7 cards correctly and Player B guessed the first 8 cards correctly,, PLayer B would win.)

      4. In the event this tie-breaking procedure does not decide all the prize-winning placements, further tie breaking procedures or prize-splitting procedures will be decided on by WoTC and the CQ Admin.

The winner will be decided when the Beta for Master's Edition 3 is publicly available, sometime in August.
